Specialist Psychology Associates is a service provider set up and run by
Dr Maxine Sinclair, Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
Dr Sinclair has significant expertise in the assessment and treatment of young people with brain injury, neurological conditions, neuro-developmental disorders, educational difficulties and medical conditions affecting brain functioning.
Dr Sinclair had been working within the NHS and specifically within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provided at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) for over 20 years before choosing to focus on her private practice through SPA.
Dr Sinclair has publications relating to neuropsychology and neuro-developmental disorders and teaches post graduate courses in neuropsychology and conditions affecting cognitive functioning at King College London in association with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. She has been working as an expert witness since 1997 on issues relating to child care proceedings, brain injury and forensic issues within Child and Adolescent services.
